Welcome!

Geography is an intimate, independent local wine bar with an extensive and interesting wine list and with over 50 wines available by the glass. Run by Tunbridge Wells locals, Aubrey and Fleur, the bar has been born from our joint loves of travel and wine. We’re wine enthusiasts rather than experts and you can expect a friendly, relaxed atmosphere plus a wide range of events including wine tastings, book club and our live music ‘Sunday Sessions’. Check out our events page for details.

Located on the High Street, we’re close to the station, the Pantiles and surrounded by great shops and restaurants. Pop in to catch up with friends or family, grab a light lunch, pre/post dinner or theatre drinks, after the daily commute or simply to take time out. It’s also worth remembering that we sell all our wine to take away at a discounted price so if you’d rather enjoy your favourite bottle at home, we can help!

We live in Tunbridge Wells and we want to celebrate and support local. To that end, we are proud to sell the TN Card here, a great loyalty scheme supporting local businesses. We try to always keep people, produce and place central to everything we do, so importantly we champion a range of amazing, award winning local producers including local vineyards, gin distilleries, cheese makers and bakers. Wine List

We hand-pick the ever-evolving wine list which features a host of both old and new world wines from around the world as well as some local gems. And as well as wine, we offer a curated selection of spirits, ciders and beers. To accompany these, you can enjoy cheese and charcuterie platters, again showcasing local produce and producers.

Check out our current wine list here.

The Shop

We’re now operating as a bottle shop and off license until we can reopen again fully. We’re also delighted to introduce our online shop which offers the same wide range of wines, spirits & beers along with some delicious cheeses & charcuterie.

Come in and choose between some of our favourite wines from our in-house list or from our new ‘Enjoyable Everyday’ range. We also have cases of wine available which are seasonal and especially chosen by us to give you the best, both in terms of produce and price. If there’s something you’d like that’s not here, please just ask us and we’ll do our best to help.

In addition, we’ve put together a small selection of local spirits from the likes of Greensand Ridge and beers from Good Things Brewing, as well as the chance to get your hands on some fantastic local coffee from Tunbridge Wells Coffee Roastery, cheese from Alsop & Walker amongst others, and charcuterie from Curd & Cure.

To ensure the safety of our customers and staff, only one customer is permitted in the shop at a time so please wait outside if there is someone already inside, maintaining social distancing. We also have hand sanitiser on the counter and are accepting card payments only.

Click and collect orders can be picked up at any time between 12-6pm Wednesdays to Saturdays. We are also offering free delivery to TN1 and TN2 postcodes with a minimum spend of £20. Deliveries are made between 3-6pm Wednesdays to Saturdays.
Thank you for supporting a small, local independent business.
