Hi there!

We’re a small, independent wine bar with an extensive and interesting wine list. We’ve got over 50 of our wines available by the glass too which we think is pretty awesome! Plus we’ve got some great local spirits, beers and ciders lined up for you and some amazing local produce to graze on if you’re feeling hungry.

We’ve naturally got a super friendly team to look after you too, headed up by us – Tunbridge Wells locals, Aubrey and Fleur. We created Geography in 2019 from our joint loves of travel and wine and like to call ourselves wine enthusiasts rather than experts. Geography’s all about relaxing, trying something new or just savouring your favourite glass (or bottle) of something, and enjoying some incredible produce from across Kent and Sussex.

Be assured that, as always, we put the health and safety of you guys, our customers, first, and so you’ll still see high standard cleaning and sanitising procedures, hand sanitiser is widely available throughout the bar, and tables continue to be well spaced out. We also have a couple of outside tables now so you can (hopefully) enjoy some sun! Demand for bookings has been high, especially on weekends, so we do encourage you to book your table in advance via our online booking system here, or by calling 01892 521292.

We also sell a fab little range of wines, beers and spirits via our online shop for you to enjoy at home.

Wine List

We hand-pick the ever-evolving wine list (tough job) which features a host of both old and new world wines from around the globe as well as some local gems. Plus, we’ve curated a range of spirits, ciders and beers, which are local where possible too. And to accompany all of this, we’ve got some tasty sharing platters showcasing local produce & producers, homemade pates and gourmet toasties.

Check out our current wine list here.

Food Menu

We’re not a restaurant but we do recognise that you quite like having something to nibble on while you enjoy your wine, beer or cocktail and so we have a great selection of sharing boards, homemade pate’s, gourmet toasties and bar snacks on offer. All of our cheeses, with the obvious exception of our Baked Camembert, are local as is most of our charcuterie.

Whether we’re open or closed, you can still get your mitts on some beautiful wines, beers and spirits via our online shop! If we’re open you can pop in and collect your order and if we’re not, then we offer free delivery for orders of £50 or more to TN1, TN2 and TN4 postcodes.

We’re a small, local independent business and we really appreciate your support.

Given our love of all things local, it would remiss of us not to celebrate English wine right? So that’s exactly what we’ll be doing over a whole week in June in partnership with The Wine Garden of England, a collective of 7 of Kent’s top wineries. All week we’ll be showcasing a selection of still and sparkling wines from Biddenden, Balfour at Hush Heath, Chapel Down, Gusbourne, Domaine Evremond, Simpsons and Squerryes which will all be available to try by the glass.

To end the week, on Sunday 27th, we’ll be hosting an exclusive wine tasting with Sally Murphy from The Wine Garden of England who will take you on a journey through 6 of their wines over two hours that afternoon. To accompany this, Kent chef Harry Fields (The Curious Eatery/Two Broke Chefs) will be preparing and serving perfectly paired canapes with each of the wines. Tickets: £35 each with limited availability. Please call, email us or pop in to book.
